Wallop Pork Burger

Hey guys! Welcome to our little food blog named PIQUANT ASPIC!!

This is our 1st post for our food review assignment. After meeting up in Sunway College campus, we headed down to a little restaurant called WALLOP. This restaurant is located in SS2/6, with an eye-catching red sign board, how could you miss it?

Founder of Wallop, Aunty May

The "Mascot"
It's a simple shop; cozy and welcoming. So what does Wallop has to offer? Well you've guessed it, PORK BURGERS!! On my honest opinion, it's quite difficult to find a shop that actually sells pork burgers, well due to this being a Muslim country.. but enough talk, let go in and see what Wallop has to offer shall we?
Wallop only offers one type of burger on the menu, pork burgers and nothing more. The order process in pretty simple, just decide on how many patties you want and decide on your add-ons. (add-on offered are bacon strips, extra cheese, mushrooms, pineapple slices and poached eggs)

We ordered three single patty burgers with different add-ons. One with pineapple/mushrooms, the other with bacon/egg and last but not least bacon/cheese.

The meat is lean and isn't oily, thickness was just right. The vegetables they used were fresh and the bun are soft and savory. Aunty May told us that no preservatives or colorings were used in the making of her pork patties. They are only made from fresh premium meat, grinded every Thursday.

As for the restaurant's environment, it is made simple yet cozy, and really welcoming to customers. It is air-conditioned and the interior is painted red and grey. Music was played in the shop and magazines were provided for the customers to read while waiting for their delicious pork burgers.

The guys enjoying their pork burger :)

So would i recommend this restaurant to my friends? DEFINATELY!! At affordable prices (at about RM10 a pop) of preservative free patties, it's worth a try. When you start coming, you'll never stop coming back.
